Reinventing the visual identity of Chartwell Industries Limited

Chartwell Industries Limited is charitable foundation based in Bermuda and owned by the Cripps family. Because both company and family name begin with the letter “C,” Chartwell wanted a letter “C” logo that could be used as the Cripps family monogram as well. The final logo is inspired by nautical themes, materialized in blue with white seashell-like striations.

We work in with an iterative design process, generating taxonomies of possibilities to define the search space, then narrowing the field with critical feedback.
